We aim to provide all the information you need to make an informed decision about your real estate education.
Getting your Georgia real estate license is a straightforward process. First you complete a state-approved 75-hour Pre-License course, like the ones offered right here at Urban Tide Xchange. Once you finish the course you receive a certificate of completion that allows you to sit for the Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Exam. After passing the exam you submit your license application to the Georgia Real Estate Commission. From there you affiliate with a licensed brokerage and you are ready to start your career. Urban Tide Xchange guides you through every step of that process.
The timeline varies by student, but most people complete the process within 2 to 4 months. This includes completing the 75-hour pre-license course, passing the state exam, and submitting your license application. Our night classes make it easier to move through the coursework without putting your life on hold.
No prior experience or college degree is required! As long as you meet the Georgia Real Estate Commission's basic eligibility requirements, which include being at least 18 years old and having a high school diploma or GED.

A salesperson is a licensed professional who has completed the required Pre-License course and passed the Georgia Real Estate Salesperson Exam. In the state of Georgia, Licensees must work under a sponsoring broker. A real estate broker has completed additional education, a 60-hour Broker Pre-License course, passed a separate broker exam, and met additional experience requirements. Brokers can work independently and can supervise other licensees. At Urban Tide Xchange we offer both the Salesperson Pre-License course for those just starting out and the Broker Pre-License course for salespersons ready to take the next step in their career.
